hey everyone. the games aren't rigged. unless the league pays players to miss clutch FTs, then its not rigged. everybody always looks for a bad call to put the game one. what about the guy who missed two freebies a minute ago? As a Kings fan, I look back at game 6 of 2002 WCFs. Worst officiating I have ever seen. I remember seeing Bibby foul Kobe's elbow with his nose. But I can also see Doug Christie airballing open threes in game 6 and game 7, I can remember Vlade and Webb clunking big FTs in game seven in the last couple of minutes. The Kings, despite bad officiating in game 6, were still in a position to win the series in both games. So you don't look to the refs. You look to the free throws.

ESPN Radio had a 19 year veteran NBA ref on and he said that the notion that 'the NBA wants a game 7 and that the refs are told this' is completley wrong and unbelieveable. This coming from a guy that was ripping the ref's last night and the NBA...he said the NBA NEVER told him to alter how he was calling a game in order for a team to win.</div>Yes, because the refs are obviously going to admit that it's rigged. :happy0144: He'd look so bad if he said that he officiated to help a team win.

I'm talking abot proof into something deep in the NBA, not just a few pouty coaches but real proof, something leaked, someone coming forward..etc People like Avery Johnson, coaches all go crazy after games, it's been going on forever.
BCB has got a good point. We wouldn't be here if someone on the Mavs put on their pants and drove to the basket.
I don't know I would hope not. But some of the calls the officials make you think to your self did the other team pay you to make that call? LOL or did David Stern have to do something with that. I know probaly not the case, but damn they need there officials to be better.I think Davis Stern took away the MVP from Iverson last season for sure. HAHAHA (Just Joking)
There have been too much bad calls and lengthening of series this post season to think this is a co-incidence. Did anyone see game 4 against the lakers? Clutch calls went the Lakers way. Game 5, the suns get the call. The Nba wants longer series because they want more money. This changes the officiating around.

Most of the NBA officials have too much integrity to rig games, they love these players and to suggest they rip them off of wins is pathetic, some members here just dissapoint me.
There are always going to be coincidences where the NBA looks like it is a rigged league, but at the end of the day, there is no way that the league is rigged.
The official that called the game yesterday has been there a very long time and I highly doubt that he would rig a game. You mavs fans are just overreacting to the calls that did not go your way. The right thing that Avery should had done was to call Howard over and tel him EXACTLY what he wanted to happen not yell it out so that it can get misunderstood.
BCB, you are quite a spectacle. Which ref would admitt something like that? Why would a retired official want to tarnish the league he worked for?And i'm talking about this post season, the reffing has been horrible.
The refs were never told to rig a game but I if they wanted to they could rig a game and Stern has yet made any actions to stop that from happening. Stern's problem is he isn't watching them close enough or making actions for an official that constantly favors a player or team. This is where the inconsistency is.
I'm not a mavsfan, on this board some consider me a mavs hater. But even if i hate a team, i'm going to do what's right. My eyes over this post season have seen the beggining of the end for actual fair basketball.Thank god 03 draft happened.

Since when is bringing to light unheard of corruption tarnishing something? It's pathetic that you treat these officials this way. Do you think most of these officials would tolerate the rigging of games? These are old school guys Melo that love the game. A vast majority of them love this game and it's players and you act like they are out to get everyone that they are kicking back with David Stern sipping martini's. You are pathetic, give me a break.
