Add Nic and Wes, and you have the best defensive unit in the NBA.

Or the bestest rebounding front court in the NBA?

If you shoot a good percentage and win the rebounding war every night you will win a high percentage of your games.

Wes/Nic/Crash/LMA/Camby would destroy teams... make them cry. 8 points a quarter bad for opponents. Of course, with no point guard, we'll only score 10 points a quarter... but still! :D

We might have to play football there and change offensive for defensive lines with each possession - as there is no-one there that can really bring the ball up-court under pressure.

That is true. On the other hand, you may have the worst ball handling unit in the NBA as well with those guys.

That's a good rebounding front-court, but the real win is that it's a super versatile defensive front-court ... the permimeter got a lot better too.

I wouldn't be shocked if our crunch-time lineup was Miller, Wesley, Wallace, LMA, Camby, or they might go small depending on matchups and go Miller, Wesley, Batum, Wallace, Aldridge. Nate loves to switch on all pick and rolls and either of those 5 man units gives you that ability.

Nate should love the "scrap" of our team now.

Lol. Ya. But that team can get stops in crunch. I love the defensive versatility it provides. We can legitimately switch on all picks and not get burned. Nate has to love that.

We do have a roster spot open. But we also need a big.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Miller still needs to play heavy minutes, he's still the team's only good point guard. Batum, Matthews and Wallace should rotate through the 2/3 spots and Wallace/Aldridge/Camby through the 4/5 spots (obviously, no Wallace at 5).

That's a pretty solid group of players to play most of the minutes. Toss in Roy and Rudy and you can soak up almost all the non-garbage time minutes.

I'd still like to see a backup big that can give you 10-15 minutes

Roy wasn't horrid at point lat night; sure, lots of rust, but he can run the plays if he doesn't get a bug up his ass to be the man. I can see him playing backup PG and letting Andre get away with 32mpg like he has so far this season.
