I like how Rudy helps on the board. I've noticed him doing this in the last several games. He goes for out of area rebounds, which really helps us without Camby. He may not get the rebound, but he tips it so that another Blazer can get it.

We fucking have to win this game. Can't let Denver win season series. We need this game to pass them. So fucking important.

Yes that is one of Rudy's better strengths. And to be honest, not one I expected from him.

We should really name Batum, Nicolas Lazypass. I swear, he has more of those weak passes than anyone I've seen in recent history...

It's like we're playing the Knicks and they traded Amare for Nene.

You have to admit that it's a turning point game.

Had a nice little run going and now we've gone cold. I like that we're attacking the hoop.

It matters, but it's not the end of the damn world if they drop it.

I was wondering when the NY trade went down if Carmello might be more repeating history much like Kiki Vandeweigh, where all the dudes traded for him all become all stars one day. Carmello was just a rich man's Zbo anyhow. :NOTMARIS:

So is Aldridge playing 48 minutes? We have no options if he gets in foul trouble. Batum at C, Matthews at PF? Whoa.

Amazing how many centers we've lost due to trade or injury/illness. Oden, Pendergraph, Oberto, Marks, Joel, Cunningham. Camby has to get healthy soon and we have to sign a D-Leaguer. Where's that Ebekwe guy from summer league? He was great.

That's because he hasn't figure out that his offensive game is soft yet. That's his main problem. He plays soft on the offensive end of the court, pure and simple. Lazy passes. Soft shit around the rim. Getting pushed around in the paint. Soft. Frenchy soft.

I wonder if Nate scolded the team for settling for 3s in the last game. Our guys are making it an emphasis to fake the 3 and drive towards the rim (with mixed results so far).

Don't forget that it doesn't necessarily have to balance to zero.

If the formula is simply looking at current minutes and position played it is just going to supplant some forward minutes of Cunningham to Wallace (or more like Wallace's production into Batum's minutes, Batum's production into Cunningham's minutes). And then on the flip side it's going to take Joel's production as a center and push them all off to basically nobody as there isn't a player to show as a replacement of those numbers, so in re-running the model it would cause more losses.

That said, if Joel's contract is bought out and Portland re-signs him, then it would likely put Portland at more like a +2 to +3 for the remainder of the season in the formulae.

Miller is so huge tonight. We need 10 rebounds from him tonight.
