Dana White thinks B.J. Penn defeated Jon Fitch on Saturday night at UFC 127. He says that Penn clearly won the first two rounds and lost the third--but the third should've been scored 10-9, not 10-8 as two judges saw it. All three judges disagree with White, with two scoring it a draw 28-28 and one giving the fight to Fitch 29-28.

B.J. Penn said after the fight he'd thought he'd lost after being dominated in the third round. Fitch didn't think he'd done enough in the first two rounds to get the decision win but after watching the fight over again changed his tune, Tweeting that he'd won the second round and therefore the fight.

Before Penn/Fitch took place White announced the winner of the bout would be the top contender for the welterweight title. However, after the fight ended in a majority draw White decided to go back on that promise. Now the top contender spot is up for grabs and a Penn/Fitch rematch seems likely.
