Ryan Bader wants to fight Tito Ortiz. Vitor Belfort wants to fight Michael Bisping, possibly in Brazil. Chael Sonnen also wants to fight "Spits"bing. Discuss.
Re: Ryan Bader & Vitor Belfort call out their preferred opponents Bader calling out Ortiz seems to be a bit of a tuck but keep in mind dude just fought Lil' Nog and Jon Jones. Not like he's been taking the path of least resistance. Still, the fight with Ortiz doesn't make sense. Doesn't advance his career and it is actually half a step up in competition for Ortiz, who hasn't won in forever. I'd rather see him fight Matt Hamill, Thiago Silva, Alexander Gustafsson--someone relevant. Belfort calling out Bisping makes total sense. I like the fight for both guys and the UFC probably likes it, too. Belfort is the right kind of fighter for Bisping to beat and get his title shot in the UK. Not an easy fight but one he'd probably be able to win. Belfort/Bisping is a good fight stylistically and the UFC can really push Bisping as a heel if they do the fight in Rio. Word is they are looking for an opponent for Chael Sonnen--Wanderlei Silva seems like the right choice there. He has been calling out everyone lately from Silva to the other Silva to Bisping, Belfort, etc. Wand seems like the right guy because they can hype up that good guy/bad guy angle better than any other matchup. Marquardt and Okami both probably want in on this discussion as well.
How the fuck do you think Bisping could beat Belfort? It'll be Hendo/Bisping II but with a southpaw in place of Hendo.
Bader Ortiz doesn't really make sense, pretty much everything you said about it I agree with. Bisping pretty much has to take a fight with either Belfort or Sonnen if he wants to advance in the division, I think Sonnen straight dominates him but with Belfort he might have a chance if he works wrestling and nothing else, I'd still take Belfort by KO though.
Tito Ortiz wants to fight Forrest Griffin again. Seeing as how Griffin just defeated Franklin it would seem more sensible for him to take a step up rather than back down to fight Ortiz again.
