    I think it's a pretty big stretch to think that existing contracts will be nullified.

    I find it much more likely for players to be facing hard caps that will ensure he doesn't see another $6m/year contract again... and perhaps be lucky to make half of that, especially if he loses a year of his career to a lockout.

    Hence, he should have hung onto the money while he had the chance IMO.

    The contracts won't be nullified, but the players will only get paid for the number of games they play. Since the lockout may dramatically reduce the number of games played, the actual amount of money he's giving up may not be as much as it initially looks like.

    Steve Francis was an expensive little fucker. Notice he never go resigned after the 2008 season.

    I don't see Patty Mills or Armon being cut for Bibby. Bibby would cost too much.

    ESPN is reporting that as well, though they said Bibby's agent says BOS and POR are still in the mix and there's nothing final yet.
