Lunch with Delgato

My friend's dad got 4 tickets to a lunch with delgado. And my friend invited me. How awsome is that :rock:

 

You mean Carlos Delgado? :happy0144: Wow, that is pretty awesome though. Have fun, that's a rare opertunity to eat lunch with a major league player, let alone one as great as him.

 

Yeah I dont follow baseball at all so lol. But yeah il try to get pics, if we go. His dad cant bring us because he has work and my dad is busy with the house..so we have to find another parent.

Random, and off-topic, but I once had dinner with former Bruins and Avs all-star defenseman Ray Bourque. Yeah.. way back when I liked hockey. He was a very good guy though. He wasnt a dick like most pro-athletes today are.

Sorry I didnt give you guys a update earlier...lunch was great lol we had it with 10 other people...which was good because it would be really awkward with just us and him lol. I got a baseball signed by him and a picture which is posted in member pics. It was really fun.

 

Good thing I reminded you, you left us hanging. Anyways, glad to see it went well. Better hold on to that baseball. :winkglasses:

 

I hate that. You got to have a lunch with a great player and great guy and you didn't even know who he was or how to spell his name.
