First the painful sight of Chris Paul getting completely pwned by Calderon last night, and then this. Maybe we will finally be able to trade for him this off season... Check out Paul's last ten games. (Talking of the Hornets - was the Hornets pick we got for Bayless one of the ones we traded for Gerald Wallace? Because it's looking better every day...)

    The curse of the meniscus.

    Sigh.

Roy and CP3= this decade's Penny and Hill.

He's going to be Stockton instead of Thomas?

I think that most people would think that's a good thing.

    1. This is just the first stage of denial.
    2. Thomas has two rings.

I was thinking about posting a similar article last night. Paul is definitely struggling, and was flat-out embarrassed trying to defend Calderon last night. Watch what faster PGs start doing to him to see if this is a short-term or long-term regression of play.

Was Paul's injury to his meniscus?

I was on the CP3-to-Portland bandwagon but after all these knee injuries (9 in the past two years) I'd stay far away from CP3, unless we can get him at a discount.

John Stockton-esque would be awesome but would it be worth it when he only plays 50-60 games per season?

We established his downfall the night he played against the Blazers. He was very ordinary, has been up and down all season, and the reason is his permanent injury. I think it's in the game thread for that game. I agree not to trade for him. He's as overvalued as Roy was last summer.

uh, Thomas might have 2 rings, but Stockton was better than Thomas.

Is Paul's medical forecast really as dismal as Brandon's? Sad if true

Many of the greatest talents ever to play have succumbed to injury. It's a rough game... you've got to be lucky as well as good to last 10 years in the league

Paul got steamrolled by Toney Douglas tonight.

Good thing the Hornets held onto him! Thanks for not trading for him, KP.

At what point do the Hornets sit the poor guy? He is a shell of his former self. Oh, and he's not a Hall of Famer, yet.

    Pritchard knew! He's a genius!

But then, isn't he the one who got rid of Juwan Howard?

Hopefully Roy is more this decade's Hill than Penny.

Of all my knee injuries, the one that hurt me the most long term was the removal of my lateral meniscus. I actually think my ACL and MCL is stronger post-tear, but having no lateral mensicus has dramatically altered what I can do.
