On thinking about it, if also take Dirk. Seriously, if you really look at G Howard as a player, it's hard not to notice that he could be way better than he is. Which is why good teams have made shirt work of the magic in the playoffs. The only time they made the finals was when the Celtics didn't have KG, no?
Who is Howard playing with that trips to the Finals should be the general expectation? Chris Paul has been the best pg in the league and hasn't sniffed the finals.
That's a great debate. DHoward, KG, and Dirk are all up there. I don't think Duncan is a first teamer anymore, but should be second or third. KD or LBJ. Wade or Bryant. Rose and CP3. Rondo will get some love but I don't think he is on that level. DWilliams was up there, too, before he precipitated the retirement of a legend. Seems like there are two guys for every spot. I didn't even mention Melo and Amare who will get NY votes. But if Rose wins the MVP, it sure seems like he would be a first teamer. That would be kind of strange if he wasn't, wouldn't it?
It's 2 guards, 2 forwards and 1 centre. So hypothetically speaking, no PGs could make the 1st team and 2 SGs are in.
It's not my expectation, my point was that it's not the expectation. Part of that is that the rest of the Magic aren't that great, but I think part of it is Howard can be taken out of games in ways the others can't
