Well, it's now official--the technical has been reviewed and upheld, and Howard will not play against us. http://blog.oregonlive.com/nba/2011/03/nba_officially_suspends_magics_dwight_howard_for_mondays_game_against_trail_blazers.html
Re: Good news Not necessarily. Does Orlando now go small? They have good outside shooters and we do not play well against those types of teams. I think we will need the depth on the wings for that game.
This will still be tough. They shoot lights out. We of all people should know what short handed teams can do.
I agree. When we are on the road it is best to catch a team when they are complacent. Catch them a little un-motivated. That certainly won't happen now. Of course I am still glad he is out.
a team who lives and dies by the 3. those teams we cant defend to save our life. however... blazers have beaten orlando 3 of last 5 times
they shoot the 3 all of 1.9% better then Portland... does that mean you think the Blazers shoot the lights out too? http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/team/_/stat/offense-per-game/sort/threePointFieldGoalPct of course having a low post threat really helps a team get open looks... much tougher sledding from the outside for them with Howard out. I hope the refs don't get whistle happy trying to keep their mediocre supporting cast in the game. STOMP
