JJ Redick is the next Trajan Langdon. You guys remember that Duke Fluke? JJ will end up the same.I don't like one dimensional players, and JJ fits the bill. He can shoot, he's lights out from the three point perimeter, but offense is only half of basketball. There's also defense. 6'4 is pretty short for NBA shooting guards these days, with Tracy McGrady at 6'8, and Rip Hamilton at 6'7. JJ can run, but that doesn't make up for his poor defense.Top 20 maybe.
Nah, he wont turn out that bad. He may be 'undersized', but really, thats an overused statement and several NBA players have proved the scouts who said that wrong. Elton Brand, Dwyane Wade, and Ben Wallace are a few players that fit in that category. He also plays zero D, but so do a ton of players in the NBA. Shooters like him have ended up doing well in the league now, since the game has now turned into a perimeter-oriented game. He could be a very valuable player in crunchtime. He wont be amazing, but he wont be absolutely terrible, either.

I think he's a smaller version of Kyle Korver, he will come of the bench and shoot some three's and that's about it. He is definately one-dimensional but he has one of the purest shots anyone has seen in a long time. SunnyD you pretty much nailed it with the Langdon comparison although I do think Reddick will be a little better than him. Langdon only lasted three years with the Cavs and a training camp with the Clippers in the NBA. On a side note, Langdon has had a lot of success playing in Europe and Russia, he's had some foreign league championships over there.

Redick is 6'5", not 6'4", he measured taller than expected. The has one of the finest shooting strokes you will ever see, his shot is just quick as hell. Unlike Trajon Langdon Redick is a VERY hard worker, he turned his game from literaly nothing.Comparing Redick to Langdon is a lazy and dumb comparison. I think you have to pick guys like Ronnie Brewer over Redick but he will probably be a really good shooter off the bench for a long time, and picking in the teens thats not really a big deal.

He's a sick dunker as well.JJ does have a nice stroke, but is that all he has?I know JJ doesn't play like Trajon Langdon did, but JJ will end up like Langdon.

I hardly see Redick being so bad that he's out of the NBA in three years. Please.
As I mentioned above, Redick will succeed in this league because the game has changed into a perimeter-oriented game, unlike in the '80s and '90s, where the game was revolved around big men. He's a taller version of Mark Price without the passing skills.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Korvers a starter though lol...</div>Kyle Korver started 43 out of 82 games in 05-06, his third year with the Sixers. I don't really consider him a consistent starter.
