    Agreed. Even if there was a hard cap, it's going to be phased in or have other outs so that teams don't just lose key players this summer. Just adding the lux tax came with an amnesty.

    Assuming there's something like the MLE next year, I think Richardson is gettable. I don't think he's worth a 3 or 4 year contract to a rebuilding team, and he's had his large contract, so those guys are more likely to value situation over money.

    This is my hope. For a starting job for the Bulls with championship potential, I think he'd give up $1M or more in salary.

    And Orlando is a rebuilding team? They will do whatever is necessary to put the best core around Howard. And given they will be capped out, that will include retaining Jrich.
