Dude, run a 4-3-3 and play down the center. Make sure your guys on the wings run into space behind the back four and you need to feed your man up-front. Passes to the feet or chest/head are good. You need one guy to be the anchor between defense and your two midfielders to help kick start an attack. Another midfielder should support the defense while one should be attacking and rarely track back.
They coach in soccer? I thought all those guys just ran around until they were too tired to defend and someone scored...
WHAT THE FUCK. So like 20 kids didn't show up to tryouts, and my brother said Player 7 had quit the high school team was was playing rec. Player 7 is a different, shitty player with the same name. This is bullshittttttt.
I'm actually kind of relieved. I know some players would have been upset if they didn't play more or in crucial situations.
Just do a simple offense and practice a lot of pick and rolls. Rec players can't defend that shit very well.
Yeah thats what I'm going to do. I think the main offense will be just pass and screen the ball or screen away. Just everyone setting screens.
What's a good full court press to run? I'm thinking our 1-3-1 half court trap will be our main defensive tool, but just in case, I want to have a full court trap as well.
Option 1: Copy McMillan's system. After all, he was one of 2 Asst. Coaches in international basketball, so he's one of the best 3 coaches in the U.S. Option 2: Meet with the parents at the end of a practice. Explain to them that this is just Boys and Girls Club, and wins don't matter. Get them on your side. Tell them that at the Little Caesars party at the end of the season, you'd like your gift to be just cash, please.
I just wanted to say that my team went 13-2 in the regular season and just won the championship game tonight!
