Interesting. Also (another page on the site): http://www.dsvsites.com/index.php/products/player-direct Ed O.
The video of Lyles and Seastrunk at USC together tells me all I need to know about this "scandal". Lane Kiffin is such a douchebag.
Sour grapes. LOL. Duck fans are fucking insufferable. Yes. It's jealousy at your program. It's the NCAA protecting the SEC. It's USC. It's also Oregon State. It's EVERYONE worried about your success in losing to Auburn. Most certainly. There's 115 programs around the country that are horribly, horribly jealous of your program. It's true. Doesn't take long.
Way to take the Sour Grapes thing and run with it....and run with it....still going? Anyway Lane Kiffin is suspect #1 as to who started this rumorville going and for obvious reasons. Also a scouting service dropped by the ducks in favor of Lyles is thought to be #2. Either way the coaches are not worried whatsoever.
Re: there has been chatter that Texas coach Mack Brown is one of the lead guys fanning the flames in this "scandal". Maybe thats true, but a glance at their roster makes it easy to see why Seastrunk going elsewhere might be better for his future prospects. If he'd have gone to Texas, this next season he'd still have been behind 5 upper classman who were ranked 4* or better by rivals coming out of HS. Oregon didn't have nearly that sort of depth and yet has put umpteen straight featured backs into the NFL. That LaMichael is a similar sized speed back putting up the remarkable numbers that he did his Freshman year in Chip's spread would seem to hold some appeal too. if Oregon did something illegal here (or elsewhere) I hope they get caught and punished... I want my school playing by the rules. But I've yet to read anything in this saga that concerns me much. It seems like the Canzano types are doing their muckraking thing which Duck haters are of course eating up as gospel, but nothing but wild connect the dots conspiracies have emerged. Oregon's administrators are playing their cards face up saying they did nothing wrong and oversaw the process. We shall see STOMP
LOL at RR7. An Average of a 24.5ppg loss to Oregon over the past 2 years probably isn't sitting well with him. Balance in the Pac and the West Coast has shifted. Oregon is THE premier football university on this side of the country currently.
I wouldnt necessarily use the word "Jealousy" but I could see how other programs would find it "Concerning" that the likes of De'anthony Thomas, Lache Seastrunk, Anthony Wallace's etc who before this ascent to the upper echelon of College Football (I still cant put UO in the Texas, Bama, etc category) wouldnt have even given the Ducks more than a sniff. But now are starting to go there. If its true that there are violations then I could DEF see why they are bringing it up. But even if not confirmed, I could see why other schools are fanning the flames of this. I'm not naive enough to think that Oregon isnt doing the same thing by bringing up sanctions against USC when there is a kid both are competing for.
George Schroeder from the RG is still trying to claim that it's OK to give DSV $25k, but not Lyles's company. He's making Canzano look objective, by comparison.
