Doesn't "never" imply (as subtle as that word is) that it won't happen at any point during the season?

Why wait till after Dallas, we already know that they will never reach 5 games above .500 this season . . . never, ever.

Well I've mainly been working at work and working at home too! I've had some of my art work on exhibit this year and am really trying to focus on that because that's my real passion (as exciting as insurance is :sigh: I love being an artist a thousand times more). So, anyway, I've been basically working 2 full time jobs for about the last 6 or 8 months.

How've you been? I do catch most of the Blazer games but don't have time to post much. Did you catch the end of the Orlando game on the radio? It was classic Wheels. He made up a whole conversation between Hedo and Stan after he blew the game. It was hilarious!

Maybe it was a typo and he meant we'll never... never, ever... be 50 games above
    .500? :dunno:

Some years #5 in the standings means something, and some years it means little.

This is one of those years where it means NOTHING right now.

The West is once again a brutal dogfight.

Considering our injuries, I am thrilled the team is winning at a .570 clip for this season and has 37 wins.

However, we are in a pack of 8 teams fighting for the 4 bottom playoff slots, separated by only 5 games in the loss column.

Go on a 3 or 4 game losing streak, and you could be out of the top 8. Just like that.

Not to mention our brutal road trip left. The bobcats game looked easy but Jackson and Thomas will be back by then. Going 1-3 is very real.

It's hard picking up the radio signal so far away. I pay a small fortune for NBA League Pass so I can get Mike & Mike. They were pretty good.

Speaking of Seeds........Freakin Indiana is 9 games under 500 and is the 8th seed in the east. (Charlotte is one game out)

Out west there are 3 teams that are 500 (or better) that currently will not make the playoffs.

IMO the 4 or 5 spot is right where I want to be.

I would bet that we take the fifth seed in the playoffs, we're 6 right now but we have the same record as #5 Denver and we're better than them no question. But if we go into the playoffs as the 5 seed we play Oklahoma City most likely. Is that a good match up for us?

Maybe it should be the top 16 teams make the playoffs, but that would make the playoffs kind of lopsided.
