catchweight bout could work for these guys. I would love to see this fight, both guys are legends and I totally agree that someone would get KO'ed in this fight.

I don't know why when fighters lose they automatically consider dropping weight.

The Strikeforce LHW division is a wasteland just like the UFC. Everything goes in circles.

That would be a sweet fight. Wonder how Fedor would look at 205. Two MMA legends fighting is always a good thing, both are old but not totally over the hill (well maybe Fedor is, we'll see).

Is it fair to give Fedor a title shot after two bad losses?

No, but its Strikeforce not the UFC so who gives a shit. I think it'd be more logical to let Hendo fight the winner of Moussassi-Kyle and let Fedor get a warm up fight at 205 against someone (Feijai? King Mo?) and then if he wins give him the title shot at the end of the year. The problem is both of these guys are old and could lose. Strikeforce knows Hendo-Fedor are two big names that they can really market and they don't want to waste any more time or let anything get in the way of this fight.

Does Fedor even have any experience cutting weight at all? If I was him I may request a warm up fight to get used to fighting at 205. Like I said though, could be risky for SF because if he loses he may retire and it makes that much less sense to give him the fight against Hendo.
