That's our path to the Finals. If we play tough the rest of the season, we can snag home court in the first round. With home court and health, I'm supremely confident we can beat the Thunder. It will be a great series and everyone will be talking about how we could've drafted Durant all series long. It will be fun. The Spurs are beatable. We showed that in our last meeting and we didn't even have Gerald Wallace (or Roy or Camby?) The key in that series is LaMarcus Aldridge. He has the tools to outplay "All Star" Duncan. He just has to do it in the limelight. Finally, if we beat them, we get the Lakers. We scare the shit out of the Lakers. Kobe called their OT victory over us the toughest and biggest win of the season and of course, we didn't have Gerald Wallace for that game. Phil Jackson and Kobe are killers though and they're out for blood. It would be every Blazers fan's dream to knock them out of the WCF. What a series that could be.

The Finals? Well... we can worry about Rondo and the Celtics if and when we get there.

Suns have two more losses than us AND they lost the season series to us. We will finish ahead of Phoenix.

It would take an act of god for the suns to beat us out for a playoff spot. With that say "starts praying for that not to happen".

We just need to win games. Win as many as we can and let the pieces fall where they may. Hopefully we can win enough to snag the 4th seed away from OKC. That would be big.

Phoenix is doing their yearly too late in the year run. We haven't been on a bad run ourselves. I think teams like New Orleans who are getting late season injuries are in more danger than we are.

You better watch it there. That might be construed as a positive thinking. Mixum are you crossing the line? :NOTMARIS:

You know, the best thing that could happen to Portland was if New Orleans didn't make the playoffs, and then that lotto pick hit the jackpot.

Why? We no longer have that pick. It was traded in the Joel/Wallace trade.

Protected top 7 in 2011, top 8 in 2012-14, after it morphs into 2015 second round pick and 2016 second round pick.

Huh? Too late? Suns reached the WCF last season. An Artest rebound was maybe the only thing that got in their way of reaching the Finals. Is tgat a yearly run? WCF every year? I hope thats not the case this year.

Yes and the season before they didn't. Phoenix makes a run every year. The difference between this year and the previous years is there is no Amare. Maybe if they didn't stink it up the first half of the season every year, they wouldn't have to.

But last season, they started the season 14-3. Get your facts straight.

If Blazers made the finals with all the injuries you've had, that would be very successful for your franchise. I'm rooting for you guys!!!
