    Wow! We are in agreement here. I love Biggie, one of my top 5 lyricists....... but Rakim is my #1 choice. Nas is up there to!

    Only good rapper ever. Liking Eminem and Biggie and Jay-Z seems like being a Laker fan to me. Much like thinking Larry the Cable Guy or Jeff Foxworthy are amongst the greatest comedians ever.

    I must say I know little about rap and care even less about it unless it is Public Enemy.

    Eminem is like Elvis. Took something "only black people do" and did it better. ;)

    Seriously, though, Recovery is a pretty damn good album and gets him back in the conversation.

    And for me, Jay-Z doesn't belong on that list of >>>>'s.

    Who's this Rakim you speak of? For an ignorant soul like me, what's something of his that's a "must listen".

    I like Rakim - dude was sick. But man, when he went solo, he was supposed to blow up... I mean, he's good, he just didn't blow up like I thought he would.

    Love Dre Dog aka Andre Nikatina. My friend back in the day was his Portland Poon. In fact, she did some basic vocals and samples for him. So I got to meet him a few times - bad ass dude.

    Local drug dealers would say "Nicky I like ya style- keep doin' it"
    and I would look at 'em like "What I'm doin'?" but Imma do it fa show.
