Re: Who Should've Stayed? I don't follow the draft much past the lottery, but who in this draft is making a huge mistake?

Okay.I think PJ Tucker and Daniel Gibson should've stayed but whatever. Texas will have to be carried by a freshman next year.
Re: Who Should've Stayed? Lamarcus Aldridge and Tyrus Thomas are projected top five picks this year, why should they have stayed? The money is in the top five picks, and going back to school gives NBA teams a chance to pick apart more of your flaws and boot you out of the top five. With their stock so high right now, they would be idiots to go back to school.Darius Washington, Daniel Gibson, Shannon Brown all three should have went back to school for atleast another year to work on things.
Re: Who Should've Stayed? Tyrus Thomas. He is not ready at all. He's full of himself, and he will not contribute offensively at all..He's not a real banger, and a not a real strong guy. He'll get knocked around a bit imo..
Re: Who Should've Stayed? Tyrus Thomas is being drafted for the same two reasons that Darius Miles, Kwame Brown, Sebastian telfair, Marvin Williams, and Gerald Wallace were all drafted"Upside" and "Potential" Yeah that's a great assesment (total bull), who can argue with that?
Re: Who Should've Stayed? Williams will be fine, so will Wallace..Can't really say much about Telfair at this point. He just thinks hes all that in college. Well hes not he'll go to the NBA against guys 2-3 inches taller, and built like tanks. He'll get owned. He'll amount to Kenyon Martin at best :no1:
Re: Who Should've Stayed? I wouldn't even say K-Mart. What made K-Mart such a good player was his raw, Artest-like emotion on the court. He lost that in Denver and now he's not really considered one of the best at his position.Tyrus Thomas will be fun to watch next year. Everybody will get on him. O'Neal (both of them), Dwight Howard, AK-47, Elton brand, Amare..... Need I go on? It will be a thing of beauty for me

Re: Who Should've Stayed? Gibson had that Sophmore curse. I'm convinced. He is such a great basketball player with a good understanding of the game. He can shoot, and he's a great playmaker. I saw a comparison last year, that compared him to Chauncy Billups..
Re: Who Should've Stayed? I really can't say a player is ruining their life when they go early and shouldn't, many of those players were not going to get a degree anyway and many are leaving early to help out family. One guy that comes to mind if Darius Washington...he's expected to be in the second round and was only a sophomore last year but with Carney and Williams leaving i'm sure he knew they didn't have a chance of winning anything. Dan Gibson was also only a sophomore and had a poor season...Aldridge leaving probably had something to do with it. A lot of these players just want to get drafted and on a team...they are conifdent in their abilities and chances of sticking to a team.
Re: Who Should've Stayed? Another player to add is Josh Boone. He could have raised his scoring average, since there will be no Marcus Williams, Rudy Gay, Denham Brown, or Hilton Armstrong, and worked on the little things before getting to the NBA.But, then again, it's a deep draft next year. Maybe he did choose right. And, then again also, if he did wait, he could go to a contender if he's a late first rounder. All these what if's that can't be answered.
