    Here's a nugget I found:

Later in the conference, talking about the challenges of ownership, Warriors owner Joe Lacob made the simple point that carried the day: "Sports is like anything else," he explains. "It's about passion. ... I just don't think you can be successful doing anything half-assed."

Its true in the world I live in and I'm glad to see that Lacob understands it. Now I hope that he uses that standard to evaluate his players because the effort/PASSION on D is not there.

Lacob better know that we need D both inside and out. If he can't see that, then he will never build a winner.

Let's just hope "winning" for him means the same thing as "winning" for you.

Here's another quote from him ...

At the conference, according to a recording obtained by The Chronicle, someone asked a muffled question about bloggers.

Lacob answered, "They are not real fans, because they don't have season tickets."

After a follow-up question, Lacob said, "Unlike every real fan, they don't have season tickets."

Our co-owner is kind of ignorant, huh?

I really wished Cohan sold to Ellison, but then again Cohan was probably trying to give one last eff you to the fans.
