Better buy it now. With all that hyperinflation, it will probably cost $354 million by the end of the year. barfo
How do you like it? I am going to get one of the two - to do a port of an application soon - not sure which one to go for first.
Put me on the list of loving the ipad. I keep mine in my car. Use it all the time . . . instant access to the internet, music and my games. (I almost hope there is a long line at DMV so I can play my games for a while) I know I'm going to get "deux" . . . but loving "uno" so much I'm not in a big hurry. I'll wait till I can get a deal.
What's the catch with that site? Is your buy out of the ordinary? I know you have to pay to bid... but are deals like yours just an abberation?
You're always going to get fantastic deals on anything you win. But winning is the hard part. You buy "bid packages" and each bid credit ups the auction price by one cent. I've seen iPads for for at low as .10 and as high as $100. If you're the winner at the end of the counter, you pay the final fee and shipping. There isn't a catch.
Yeah... there may not be a catch but all the people that bid and lose are essentially paying for nothing... if they sell an IPAD for $250 and it is worth $500... they break even (because they already made $250 on the bids) I am not saying it is a scam... just more like a raffle where even if you win you are paying something.
The sight was so much more awesome before it got big. Now its really hard to win things. Friend of mine got a 22k car for 850, total came out to like 6k for him because of all the bids he had to place.
Yikes that is a hella business model. =) Why couldn't I come up with something like that... like the pet rock... selling bottled water... the next great scam is out there somewhere! =)
The company made 51k on that, profit of 29k. Makes up for those $10 gift cards that they sell for a dime.
