The Knicks need to just get through this, stick with the guys they have and wait out the contracts and add young talent along the way, it will be a terrible process but it needs to be done to start over. And if they do this Knicks fans need to shutup and accept it because they are half the reason this has happened.</div>Wait question how are the Knicks fans half the reason this has happened?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Serge @ Jun 24 2006, 08:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Wait question how are the Knicks fans half the reason this has happened?</div> They continue to pack the arena regardless of the moves they have made the last 5 years. They demand good players instead of rebuilding and a majority of them are complete idiots. All they do is piss and moan at the season they had (the fans and the papers) when those dingdongs supported most of the moves. They want a great team right now instead of having to build for it.

That might have been the worst post I've ever read. NBA fans go to the arena to be entertained. Yes they cheer for their team, yes they want them to win, but they aren't going to skip games cause they suck. They go to have a good time, sip a beer, and hang out with friends. There are 8,000,000 people in New York. There are thousands of tourists in New York everyday. If you can't sell 20,000 tickets three times a week, you should kill yourself. And whether New York wants a great team or not, that won't effect management one bit. The NBA is a business, and until fans stop going to the games, I don't expect management to listen to anyone

But in Philly most fans are so tired they did stop coming. When we have like 8,000 people a game half the time that's not good. When on a good day you have 11,000-13,000 people that's just not good.

The Knicks still got a long way to go until they reach the playoffs. Let Isiah the genius do everything by himself.
