At his New York debut press conference, Larry Brown said that New York was his dream job ever since he began coaching, and that it would be the last stop in his coaching career.11 months, 10 Million dollars and a 23-59 record later, Brown is jobless again, and he leaves us all asking the question, Will he return to coaching? My guess is yes.He said when he went to New York, he said he thought he still had 3-4 years left in the tank, and I think that now he will continue to coach, even though he got a raw deal in New York. It has been discussed the Micheal Jordan and the Charlotte Bobcats are interested in persuing Larry. Larry played college ball in North Carolina, and he has alot of Tarheels to work with on the team. I think Larry could help build a good young defensive team, and take them into the Playoffs in a year or two, not to mention they have a good pick in this years draft and tons of money to dish out to Free Agents.Do you think Larry will return to coaching?
He actually is a very good coach, he was put ina bad situation. Say that the pistons were lucky, I don't think so at all. He brought stellar D and it takes much more than luck and a good situation to make a championship run.I'm not saying he will, but he should.
He is a great coach but he tends to put himself in bad situations. I mean, he has been with like 12 teams in 15 years and with his recent project (Knicks) it makes him look bad. If he does coach it should be in college IMO.

But you get my point right? Coaching is a job, and in a job,if you want to get one and they see you have had a lot of jobs, and the last job you were at you got fired they wont want you.

A lot of coaches have been fired from their position, yet are hired somewhere else. A coach with Larry Brown's credentials will ALWAYS find a coaching job somewhere... it's just a matter of whether or not he wants to coach.Larry being fired or resigning from previous coaching positions never hindered his ability to land another coaching job. Obviously, this is the ugliest mess (arguably) that he's been involved in, but if he wants to coach next year I'm sure there will be a team that will want him.
I think yes... a few teams will try to get him by firing their current coaches... I'm predicting the Cavs will get him

Im not sure if he will but I think he definetly should. I mean the guy is a great coach and shouldnt end his coaching career on a horrible 23 win season. If he does that season will be a big partn of what hes remembered for.

There is a chance the Bobcats would want him like rumered.Larry got a bad break in NY the players were selfish.I think it's pathetic that the Knicks fired Larry Brown. He always does not do to good in his first season with teams then get's his team better the following season.
