They had nobody at all who could even slow LMA down. It was like watching college versus high school JV out there.

Imagine how many points LA could have scored if he really wanted to.

Or if we'd pounded it into him; he got those points with only a little focus on him in the first and third. If he'd played 40 minutes, he would have ended up with 29, but if they'd focused on him more, he could have easily broken his career high, Cleveland's spirits, and maybe a backboard or two.

If he ask for it more too, just not in his nature. But then we did pretty well playing team ball.

As he should. Cleveland has NO big bodies at all. Hickson is tall, but scrawny. Samuels is wide but stocky. It was as if LA was playing in a city league game. His scoring went as follows: Catch ball in post, back down defender, after 3 dribbles jump stop, put up hook shot from 2 feet away. Great game from LA and I'm really glad he got to rest the entire 4th quarter.

By the end of the year, I'm sure we're going to learn that Aldridge is the only unanimous coach's selection to ever NOT make the all-star team. It's like Woodstock. 500,000 people attended, but 5,000,000 60 - 65 year olds now claim to have been there.

It's hard to remember what exactly they did during the 60s.

I think you are taking the words "vote" and "there" too literally. Just because someone wasn't LITERALLY at Woodstock doesn't mean they couldn't have "BEEN THERE", man! Likewise, all these coaches really liked LaMarcus, and were surely "voting" for him, even if it wasn't reflected on their actual paper ballots. And also, they would like to say for the record, "Please LaMarcus, don't hurt em".

Especially now that they are in there 60s.

I'm old enough to remember Woodstock, but not old enough to claim I attended.

At the time, I was much more interested in what Neil Armstrong and the crew of Apollo 11 were doing than what was going on at Max Yasgur's farm in upstate New York that summer. Although, I was only about two hours north of the festival visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown with my parents and older brother.

The Cleveland game wasn't about LaMarcus. Everything he got, he got in the flow of the game. It was an absolute team effort butt kicking. No one cared who scored what when. LaMarcus just happened to finish with 20/10. That Cavs team was horrible when they had Jamison and Mo Williams. Last night, they didn't even have those guys and Baron Davis doesn't care about basketball anymore at all, not even for the fun of it. They didn't even try. We were smart to just pile it on them, no messing around, and take the win.

Aldridge continues to get more recognition for not making the all star game than he would have gotten by making the all star team.

Let's just address the elephant in the room. Aldridge didn't make the All Star team because he doesn't even grab 9 rebounds a game. People can say of course, he scores more because Brandon was out and more of the offense was run through him and he played more minutes. So at 21/9 (at the time), just not that impressive. Even now, there are 5 forwards in the West with better PER than Aldridge. If Aldridge averaged 10-11 rebounds per game, it would have been a no brainer.
