    The NBA's collective bargaining agreement expires June 30, and the possibility exists that the owners of pro basketball teams could lock out their players, much like the NFL owners have done in their league.

    If an NBA lockout forces the cancellation of the 2011-12 season, the Mavericks' Jason Kidd, considered one of the greatest point guards in league history, would consider retirement.
