Well there are many rumors about it really. It's really hard to explain well so I'm just going to put it in point form.- First of the Mayas (this is a Mexican civilization that is really old. Think about it, how would they know about solar eclipses and leap years then?) I made a calander that to date has estimated all of the leap years and solar eclipses, on this same calander however, it states that in 2012 the world will end.- Many scientists throughout time have said the same thing, among these are Albert Einstein, and Leonardo Da Vinci.- Recently a large comet was discovered that is ment to be headed straight at earth (out of all the other places). Estimated time of arrival... 2012- With further study of the bible, scientists have found that in subliminal text, the bibal states something about a meteor in 2012, it also states about the end of the world.Going back to the Maya Civilization, aliens are believed to be a part of all of this because...- Pyramids of Egypt and Maya are so similar (could be a landing pad)- Both civilizations are very similar, as in both where closely related to the space (where aliens come from)- Both ended mysteriously and suddenlyPersonally I think the evidence is kind of tough, but I doubt it.

For some reason I thought I remember reading somethign like this like 3 months ago. it was the same thing that the world will end in 2012. I dont buy it though. That stuff is a bunch of crap to me
Those beliefs seem interesting but I'm gonna stick to my theory. The world will be destroyed by giant ninja spidermonkeys who start an intergalactic war with the aliens from that movie "Signs". The aliens will plant bombs in the earth, they're big Tom Cruise fans, and slowly blow earth to pieces. Humans will be okay though, we will have been wiped out for eons due to a number of explosions centering around the southeastern United States. Speculation is that Heat fans heads got a little too big.

Let's take some years back. I don't think its going to end either.In the 1960's, people said the world was going to end because of nuclear weapons and lots of nukes starting to appear on Earth. Oh, look, the 70's, and they still live. Then, in 1999, people would say it's gone 2000 years now, infact, millions and millions of years, and we still lived. And we're here now, thinking the world ends in 2012. The problem is, we don't know, but it's definitly not going to end in my opinion. After past sayings of thr world ending and it hasn't, I'm sure it wont happen on 2012. If anyone survives at 11:19AM (1 minute after the supposed world end date) and nothing happens, then, it's another stupid 'the world's ending' theory down the drain.Well, there's something else I've noticed, too. What if this is a lie, in the Mayan age, passed down to here. Everyone thinks 'The world ends on 6/6/06' or '7/7/07', et cetera = in this case, we have the world ending on the first day of winter, the twelfth month of 2012, and the twelfth year after 2000. Seems imiliar, and if it is a lie, whoever made it up has made the first day of winter as the end date... not 12.

When I was 11, and the World Trade Centers were hit, I was told of a prophecy that said:"When the two towers burn, the third world war will begin"It didn't happen. When they were thinking of electing a certain pope a few years ago or whatever, I heard that a cetain pope was oging to be selected, and the world would end.When it was going to be 6/6/06, I read about how something said the world would end. I don't believe any of this stuff anymore, and I think the world will only end for me when I die... I hope
Don't believe it. The world will kill itself. If there is another world war it will happen. Think about it, the US has more than enough nukes to kill all signs of civilization.
