Filipino flyweight Milan “Metodico” Melindo stopped his Mexican foe in just 1 round in the main event of Pinoy Pride 4 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on Saturday.

Melindo’s accurate punching sent Mexican Rosendo Vega down to the canvass twice in their fight scheduled for 10 rounds, according to according to Philboxing.com.

The Filipino connected with a right uppercut to Vega’s chin, staggering the aggressive Mexican to his first knockdown.

The Mexican was able to get up, but a short right from Melindo knocked him out for good.

Melindo remained unbeaten in 24 fights.
