Is that sarcasm? Because if I support the Lakers then they can't ban me.

That's right, the NBA has a hand in this site too!

    Hi mixum.

Anyways, I can't speak for stomp, but personally I didn't cheer for Patterson as a Blazer.

Beasley probably tickled Bynum's nuts at the other end of the floor. I can see Beasley doing that and I am surprised Bynum didn't give his anal a digit. Seriously though, a one game suspension doesn't mean dick and it's just the cost of doing business. Laker management will probably pay him the money he is out as a bonus.

Yeah so on the topic of the thread, when was the last time a suspension came down over the weekend? I don't think it ever happens until Mondays.

For those that think Stern would never approve of a suspension of Bynum because of a conspiracy favoring the Lakers, what do you have to say now?

While I'm sure he wants big markets to do well, he wouldn't turn a blind eye to this. Bynum is suspended for TWO games, even.

A line up of Gasol, Odom, Artest, Kobe and Fischer is better IMO. If this is true that he is out I applaud the league. He deserves it. But I bet it fires the Lakers up more.

I just hope we got the information before practice today. That way we don't spend any time scheming plays as if Bynum is playing.

The Lakers are tough because they have so many big guys to throw at you. This will definitely hurt them tonight.

That is a good point. Completely different game plan to start the game.

Very glad to see the league do the right thing. 2 games seems an appropriate punishment/deterrent to this sort of dirty play

This bums me out. I wanted to beat them at full strength. Guess I'll have to wit for the next time we play them.

As for Lakers being suspended, I believe Kobe was suspended for fighting Reggie Miller and Shaq was suspended for throwing a punch at Brad Miller. Fox was probably suspended once or twice too.

No they did not. They had Bynum for both titles. The year he missed, they lost to Boston.

Damn -- just saw those two fouls for the first time. They are amazingly similar...
