I took my daughter to the game. She made a sign with a Blazers message and all the players names on one side and a Nico sign on the other. She managed to get on the big screen with her Nico sign, so she was pretty happy. Since she was totally into watching Nico, so she could wave her Nico sign whenever he made a play, I watched his every move throughout the entire first half. With the exception of two plays where he started to drive, had a half step on his defender and a lane to the basket, then pulled up half way there and passed off, Nico played great in every aspect of the game. I was shaking my head at the anti-Nico fans. The guy is only 22 years old, for crying out loud. Looking at the stat board after the game, and seeing that LaMarcus, Wallace and Nico were the leaders for the game, it just looked right. Matthews has his hot nights, but IMO the big 3 needs to be LaMarcus, Wallace, and Nico. Batum just needs to have the confidence and aggressiveness to finish some of those drives.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Every board member's daughter's favourite player seems to be Nico. So is he officially the teeny bopper heart throb of the team? The Justin Beiber of the Blazers?

Rice doesn't bother me. Honestly, Wheels is worse. I can't listen to Wheels if we're losing. It's too depressing.

Did I miss the Nico haters? I'm in favor of starting Wallace over Nico if we go with LMA at power forward, but I still have high hopes for Nico's future.

Wheels does display A LOT of emotion. I think he is a good example of how most of the board posters feel.

My oldest has a red LMA jersey. I bought it for her before the season. My youngest has a black Roy jersey. I bought it on discount after XMas. :(

Rice is awesome, he's never bothered me. I feel like I've grown up with the guy calling Blazer games. Hopefully he calls games forever.

The little girls like Nicolas and the big girls like Rudy? LOL

In my case, my wife is French and my girls have spent time in France, so they think it's pretty cool we have a French player on the team.

My mom is in love with Rudy. I hate him so it makes it even worse. She also loves Mark Sanchez..
