<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Journal Times - The Bulls and Suns are giving serious thought to a trade in which Suns forward Shawn Marion would be dealt to the Bulls for power forward Tyson Chandler and the Bulls' top draft pick, which is the second overall choice, according to Gery Woelfel.</div>SourceWhat would you think if this went down? Bulls would give up there top pick but would be greating a great player in return with Shawn Marion. The problem is that it makes the hole at center harder to fill.

Well this would give Diaw a spot, the question is who would the Suns draft? Also the Bulls would still have the 16th pick so they should be able to grab a center aswell as go after Nene or Nazr, something like that.

I think Nazr would be a better fit for them, I think Joel is a little overrated.Hinrich/DuhonGordan/Badsen(I think he should get more pt)Deng/NocioniMarion/SweetsNazr/Armsrong(could get it drat with 16th)They could also pick up a 2 with the 16th because they have Schenscher who proved to be an ok backup. So if they really could do this trade they should jump all over it.

I think it really depends on if the Suns think they can win a championship with the team they right now. They have gotten close but it may be time for a shake up, also I think the emergence of Diaw may ease the blow of losing Marion because Diaw won't be at the 5 with Amare back. I think Diaw can put up Marion type numbers.

Chandler would match up well with Duncan but still the suns should not give up an all-star for Chandler. Who knows if Amare goes back to what he was 2 years ago.

I can only imagine how well Chandler would do with Nash though. He has already established himself on the defensive side of the floor but with Nash I could see him getting 15ppg. Still that would be an injury prone frontline for the Suns which could be devastating. But the Suns would look something like this...Nash/BarbosaBell/RoyDiaw/JonesAmare/ThomasChandler/ThomasI think that is pretty scary. Bulls would be getting a proven All-Star I say this trade is a toss up because I have heard rumors of Marion being the odd man out in Phx, and they showed they aren't scared to make bold moves.

If Phoenix does this Dallas would matchup better with them. First of all Dirk would be able to guard Chandler instead of Marion which is much easier for him and also the suns would lose their great outside shooting that is what made them great. Only Bell and Nash would be great outside.

Marion isn't great outside. But Amare is improving outside, I heard he was making them from the perimeter before last season.I think this deal would be good for both teams. Bulls don't really have a superstar, Marion would be that.Phoenix would benefit, the three headed monster would be decapitated [IMG] into two, but Diaw is improving and like DRob said, he can put up numbers that Marion put up. Maybe not the rebound numbers, but the scoring at whatnot. Brandon Roy would be a cool pick too. He'd fit in, and obviously start soon.

I would pass on this. I feel like Chandler can be a good player if he has another big man to work along side of him. Plus i dunno if i can bare looking at Marions ugly ass shot for years

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chicago Sun-Times - Bulls GM John Paxson has denied that reports of his team sending the second overall pick in next week's draft plus Tyson Chandler to the Phoenix Suns for forward Shawn Marion has any basis, the Chicago Sun-Times are reporting. The Racine (Wis.) Journal-Times reported Thursday that the Bulls and Suns were giving "serious thought'' to such a deal.Bulls general manager John Paxson shot down the report Friday. ''There's no truth to [it],'' he said.Phoenix coach Mike D'Antoni also told the East Valley/Scottsdale (Ariz.) Tribune this week that Marion is not on the market."You can ignore it [the rumors],'' D'Antoni said. "I'll tell you what's going to happen: Someone will call me and I'll listen, because you always have to listen. And then we'll go, 'No.' And then it will be in the paper the next day that we're interested.''You have to roll with the punches, but Shawn knows we're close, and we're not doing anything like that.'</div>Source

Doesn't make much sense because they have Nocioni and Deng already, Marion can play PF but with the Bulls it wouldn't be as easy. I don't see why the Bulls you do anything like this, don't fix something that isn't broken, pick your PF and complete your team.
