Andres Nocioni, averaged 13/6 shooting 46% FG and then in the playoffs averaged 22/9 56% FG and 47% 3FG...he just blew up in the playoffs.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Heatfan32 @ Jun 23 2006, 10:08 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I'll throw two names around, one is Caron Butler. For some reason, he put up career numbers and no one has seemed to notice him the entire year. He is an excellent rebounder for his size and is a decent scorer on the offensive end.Theres also, Greg Buckner, he is a in-your-face defender who plays very physical. Hes not the greatest player around but unlike Bowen and Artest who get there credit from the defensive end Buckner gets no credit.</div>I agree with both of those. Without GBuck, the Nuggets wouldn't have anybody to cover star guards on the opposing side.Another person I would like to mention is Fransisco Elson. This year, 'Sisco had more playing time then usual because of Nene out for the season, and K-Mart and Camby were often injured. He took the place of them and outplayed K-Mart a lot of times.

Gerald Wallace is the most underrated player in the league today. The man averaged, 15.2 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.09 bpg, and 2.51 spg. He's one of only two players in the league who is in the top 11 in bpg and spg (Ben Wallace the other). He is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league and is fourth in the league in steals per turnover (1.39), which in my mind is an extremely underrated stat. Best of all, he is a small forward who shoots 53.8% from the field, which is fourth in the league. His only weakness is his 61% from the free throw line, which if he improves could make him one of the leagues best. Best of all, he is only 23, so his potential is limitless. If Michael Jordan is smart, he'll build this franchise around this man.

Remember when he was drafted and all he could do was dunk? This guy has come a long way and you can tell he has an amazing work ethic.

Thats because he's never learned how to shoot and he plays in Denver...he's been a good PG for a while now though.

Overrated? Are you trying to present an argument that he's overrated or are you insinuating that I believe he's overrated?I was saying that he's not really either...which you apparently agree with...</div>Actually it was my fault - the other part of my post was to everyone not just you. I was just saying that Haslem is an underrated player since he doesn't get his name mentioned as much but he shouldn't be mentioned that much in this thread because he does get a lot of credit for playing in Miami. Once again, I apologize for this misunderstanding.
