he Spokane Shock announced today that OL Palauni Ma Sun has been added to the roster. Ma Sun, 6-5 320, is entering his second season in the AFL.

Last season, as a member of the Chicago Rush, Ma Sun started in all 17 games (regular and postseason) and recorded four touchdowns at the tight end spot.

Prior to his experience in Chicago, Ma Sun also spent two seasons in the af2; one with the Boise Burn (2009) and one with the Spokane Shock (2008).

As a member of Spokane's 2008 Conference Championship team, Ma Sun started in five games. The following season, Ma Sun appeared in nine games for the Boise Burn and recorded a touchdown.

"Palauni is a veteran who has proven himself year and year out," Head Coach Rob Keefe said. "With a six-foot-six frame and his athletic ability he is an asset to any team. You can never have too much depth on the offensive line. "

This week the Shock traveled to Iowa to take on the Barnstormers' for the NFL Network's AFL Game of the Week. Kickoff is at 5 PM PST. The Shock will return home to host the Kansas City Command on April 1st, with an 8 PM kickoff. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
