Milwaukee sent Minor League infielder Cutter Dykstra and cash considerations to Washington for Morgan, a left-handed hitter who offers an interesting foil for incumbent Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez, who hits right-handed. Both Gomez and Morgan have their detractors -- Gomez for his unfocused nature at the plate and Morgan for a series of incidents in which he lost his temper, including a benches-clearing incident with the Marlins last September after Florida pitcher Chris Volstad threw behind him.
