    "Get with the program.

Amar'e Stoudemire didn't say exactly that, nor did he cite any names in the aftermath of the Knicks' latest meltdown against a sub-.500 team, Friday's 99-95 loss to the Pistons.

But it was clear what and especially whom he meant more than anyone else: Carmelo Anthony, whose 2-for-12, six-point performance was by far his worst in 14 games as a Knick.

"We've just got to buy into Mike D'Antoni's system," Stoudemire said. "I've been part of it for a long time now and it's been very successful. So we just have to buy into it and get it done."

Translation: Don't catch and hold the ball, as Anthony did Friday perhaps more than any other time since he joined D'Antoni's team, and play isolation basketball.

Move it, the way Anthony (averaging 24.6 points on 44.3 percent shooting as a Knick) did while averaging six assists in a three-game winning streak at Atlanta, vs. Utah and at Memphis earlier this month."

I believe Carmelo is still adapting to the big lights of New York and being the focal point of the Knicks. Lebron had a whole offseason to relax and work out with his team to get adjusted. Once the Knicks can get this season off their shoulder we should expect great things later. Its unfortunate that if the playoffs started today they would play against the Celtics. Ouch!

Not really. It's clearly what the article is implying.
