I'm not, at all, complaining. But if B-Roy thinks that call didn't matter. He's out of his mind.

When Perkins is guarding Aldridge, Aldridge couldn't score in the paint. His only advantage is shooting jumpers at that point.

So, again I ask, did Roy get injured again tonight?

I think you are just making excuses. Even if it was called, it's not likely that Portland would have won anyways.

It's okay if if we lose to a better team on their court, but what's depressing is that we never led except for 27 seconds. The lead seemingly never changed hands. I turned it off with a half minute left. Too sad.

It took a super effort from Wallace because the usual stars Aldridge and Miller were ineffective. Camby has now fallen into McMillan's system of being nothing but a rebounder. Yet we have lost our rebounding advantage that made us win earlier in the season.

McMillan thinks the only Thunder weapon is Durant, because he watched him in the summer, so he let Ibaka roam all night.

Slow Roy is no more effective than Mills, and makes almost as many mistakes.

    Wallace 40 points/27 shots/ 0 assists in a 9-point loss.

If his name was Brandon Roy, he'd be getting killed right now.

Excuses for what? There's no way of knowing if the Blazers could have tied it up or taken the lead if the call was made, but the fact still stands, it was a crucial missed call.

It was an obvious foul on Perkins. Not sure why B-Roy is arguing it. :dunno:

Losing? Westbrook made some incredible shots he normally wouldn't make. The team that played better definitely won tonight. I'm not ready to say the best team won, because I don't believe OKC is the better team. Still, the win stands and I do believe they outplayed Portland on this night.

I'm not disagreeing with you on that point.

The team that scored the most points won the game tonight. :p

You should keep posting this line over and over like you've been doing, just to see if you get a reaction from people.

So Brandon Roy is averaging 4 ppg in the last 6 games, since his 21 point "flashback" game vs Dallas. What is going on with him? I expected him to settle into a 10-14 ppg in 20-25 minutes. Instead, he's Patty Mills.

Overall, i thought the Blazers got a lot of calls that you wouldn't expect on the road.

It really was a shame that some Blazers didn't try to match Wallace's intensity. Didn't see much from Batum or Mathews and i was especially disappointed in Camby. This guy's job is to guard the basket and two plays in the first half illustrate his failures. One was an inbound play on which he just seemed to ignore the guy who he was guarding (Mohamed) who caught the ball with a clear path to the basket. Another was a full court drive by Harden and Camby had not even got turned around before harden was laying it in. Aldridge? Well, I think if Camby blocks a shot, then Aldridge better be there to get the defensive rebound and he rarely is. I wish Wallace was the kind of guy to really tear into them, because some of them need it. This team isn't good enough to turn it on during the playoffs, they need to try it out earlier.

Thats what happens sometimes in basketball. I've watched Derek Fisher's bad defense being covered up for years. You switch guys to make it work. I'm willing to bet a lot of teams with good defensive, quick 2's are assigned to a player like Westbrook. I'm also sure quite a few stars have had Bruce Bowen for an assignment during their careers.

I really don't want the Blazers to face the Thunder in the 1st round of the playoffs.

First of all, they 2 stars to the Blazers' 0.

Second, no one on the team can guard Westbrook. Not even close. Between making Miller fall and Wesley too afraid to play close he pretty much just had his way in the 2nd half. Oh yeah, there's also this guy named Durant who's pretty good as well(that the Blazers could have drafted if you didn't know). Then there's Perkins who is one of the better post defenders in the NBA which is trouble for Aldridge. I think Aldridge can take Ibaka, but not Perkins.

Mavs or bust. Not that it would be easy, but at least they just have 1 superstar in Dirk who the Blazers can throw multiple defenders at while everyone else on that team is a role player at best. There's also the choke factor when it comes to the Mavs which they are known to do.

I wish the regular season ended today.

Yeah, no way I want any piece of OKC in the playoffs. I think Denver can beat 'em, which would suit me just fine.

Wow, for all the shit I get about not being a real fan.......Any of you who don't want to face this team, or that team shoul dbe ashamed to call yourself a fan. if the blazers are going to win anything....EVER, they need to beat the best teams. Why not just hope every team they face get in a plane crash, and portland is declared the winner by default.

I don't care who we play. if we are good enough to beat them, then great. If not, then do something to improve the team enough to beat them next year

Between now and the end of June, there's nothing we can do to get significantly better, so I want no part of them in the playoffs. Next year is its own conversation, though. I want the best chance of getting through the first round, and Dallas has always been a little vulnerable in the playoffs due to their lack of effective defense.
