http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2011/3/2...rug-test-sample-inconsistent-with-human-urine I suppose everyone has heard the story of Kevin Randleman's failed urine test from 2006. In short, he submitted a urine sample that lacked any hormones, meaning it was either synthetic or from the bladder of a cadaver. It has been a permanent mark on Randleman's career since and it would take a rather desperate individual to try the same trick. Enter Thiago Silva, 2011. Silva's post-fight urine test from UFC 125 on New Year's Day has been in the lab for nearly three months, the same amount of time Silva's career has been in limbo. The writing was on the wall when Silva's defeated opponent Brandon Vera was reinstated into the UFC, suggesting that their bout result was going to get overturned or ruled a no-contest. That hasn't happened yet but at least the urine test results are in--and they are bad for Silva. Silva's submitted urine is not from a human, let alone the man himself. Whatever it is (synthetic urine used by dopers, most likely), he's been caught. Silva and his camp have heretofore maintained their innocence but today's news from the NSAC might change their tune a little. Expect Silva to be suspended between 6-12 months and fined. Sucks to be Brandon Vera's nose.
Re: Thiago Silva's second urine sample finally tested--and it isn't human That's cause Thiago Silva's a beast!! He should consider using this as his opening statement in his hearing.
Re: Thiago Silva's second urine sample finally tested--and it isn't human How does a fake urine sample get submitted, you ask? A prosthetic penis called a whizzinator. Google image search for it if you want to see what it looks like (hint: cawk).
Re: Thiago Silva submitted non-human urine; Silva owns his mistake and awaits punishm Sounds like Silva used a masking agent after all. http://www.cagepotato.com/thiago-si...he-tried-to-beat-post-ufc-124-nsac-drug-test/
Re: Thiago Silva submitted non-human urine; Silva owns his mistake and awaits punishm Props to Silva for admitting he made a poor decision instead of the old denile game. I appreciate that a lot.
Re: Thiago Silva submitted non-human urine; Silva owns his mistake and awaits punishm Well to be fair he didn't admit his mistake. Until now he had been declaring his innocence. Only after he was caught (a second time) did he admit it. And even then he didn't say he used performance enhancers, he said he was irresponsible with stuff he didn't realize was banned.
Re: Thiago Silva submitted non-human urine; Silva owns his mistake and awaits punishm I can't believe he did this. Oh God. Some people
