With a solid 2 seasons behind them, Can the Bobcats take the next step and move into the playoff picture?

I dont see it this season but they could be a playoff contender in the 07/08 season IMO. They have a great young pg in Raymond Felton who i think showed he can be an all star pg towards the end of the season. They have Gerald Wallace a freak athlee who fills up the stat sheet for them. They have a pretty good frontcourt of Emeka Okafor and Primoz BRezec. plus they have a decent bench w/ Sean May who should be healthy again next season, Kareem Rush, Melvin Ely, Jumaine Jones, etc. . If the Bobcats draft a good sg like Brandon Roy this could be a pretty good team in two seasons.

I dont think the bobcats will be a playoff team this year, but i dont think they will finish last either because that spot belongs to the hawks even though the hawks are getting better as well. both teams can be a little of a suprised next yr but i think the bobcats are at least one or two more years away

I think they will make it if they pick pu a great rookie. They already have a great young team, and I would'nt br suprised to see them turn out like the Baby Bulls from Last season.

I think after they get a nice rookie this season and have one season to play together with that team, they will make the playoffs. So I have them making the playoffs in 07/08. Then again it all depends on what they do in the draft/offseason.

Well, I think they are going to have and wait for the Heat's team to die down. Because the heat are going to lead the conference and the Bobcats are not going to have the best record to make it into theother remaining spots. But, I think in two or three years if they get a good enough, talented, young Shooting Guard I think they could make a solid appearence in the playoffs and be great later down the road. Emeka is going to be a great player as soon as he is done devoloping. And Raymond Felton is going to be a great leader for the team with all these guys he is plaing against and getting a chance to learn more about the game and how to lead a team to victory.

This team has a lot of nice, young talent but they need some veterans before they make a step towards the playoffs. They need some experience, Wallace is one of their oldest guys.

I say sooner rather than later. I am going to see they will be in the playoffs in 2-3 years. I mean they have a true PG of the future (who can also play now) in Felton, a scoring machine with star potential in Morrison, a defensive/athletic freak in Gerald Wallace, one of the bets PF's in the league down the road if he can stay healthy - Okafor, plus a solid center in Brezec, also another good young player in Sean May who will be a good player. Ryan Hollins may never be a starter, but he will be a quality backup and he was somewhat of a steal at 50.

Look at it, this team has 4 potential future All-Star players (Okafor, Morrison, Felton, and Wallace) and they have a great future. Even if they didn't rack up the wins last year, they gave everyone a run for their money and they can't be taken lightly or they will convert. This is an exciting team to watch and I think they will be a good team soon. 2-3 years.

Give them 2-3 seasons for the young guys to develop, and for them to draft some good vets with their cap and you have a pretty damn good playoff team. They have made some great picks as of late so they are definately a team to watch out for in the future..

They're best player can't stay healthy. That and look at all the other teams that would be in front of them. I mean, it's not like everyone else is getting worse.

This year cause they Got alot of money to pick up some good freaking players in the FA right now and they drafted a good player Adam Morrison. I like what Michael Jordan is doing to this team he is making them alot better and he is making them stand out. Bobcats this year or next year watch out WOLRD!!!

There are no good FA's that the Bobcats could pick up this year. Their young guys are not experienced enough yet, and they are a poor defensive and offensive team. You dont know basketball if you think they will make the playoffs this year.

I'm gonna say 3 years before they start battling for an 8th seed. Once Morrison matures, and if Okafor and Wallace can stay healty, they can be a very solid team. They need to add some depth and experience too!
