We suck on the road it seems. I think we'll do much better during this final stretch with most of our games @ home.

I think we can get lucky on the road, but getting consistent wins is the tough part. Come playoff time we hopefully will only need to be lucky on the road once...

It didn't help Aldridge as well that Roy, Batum, Rudy, and Matthews decided to shoot when they sucked big time as well.

I was crazy for calling out Miller.

    CRAZY!!!

HCP, tell Miller that he's not a fucking franchise player, and that he needs to move the fucking ball.

It only makes them the 7th seed for now and the Lakers are only a game up on Dallas. The Blazers could get the 6th seed and still play the Lakers conceivably.

Just let the rest of the season play out.

You know what? I don't fucking care as long as we make the playoffs. Fuck seeding. All four of those teams are tough competition for us. Let's just win a couple of our home games and get into the dance and then flip the switch come playoff time.

Well, of course not. It also didn't help LMA that his PG decided he was Michael fucking Jordan, and that he needed to dominate the ball.

Roy use to do that all the time (and sometimes still does), did you get on his case for it?

NO has a much easier schedule down the stretch then us, and the lakers have a way easier one then Dallas. It is not to far fetched to say NO will win at least 3 of there next games (which would mean we would have to win out to get 6th) and that the Lakers will win more games then the Mavs to put them at the #2 seed and us at the 7#,

Hornets commentators have yelled throughout the game that this game counts like 2 games because a win propels them into 6th place, ensuring they make the playoffs, moves the Blazers down in the standings, and wins the season series with the Blazers.

Jarrett Jack fought over it, admirably. McMillan coaches the toughness out of his players. He sat there this game telling his players, "[Yawn.] Pass the Gatorade."

I like this post, fits a mood I can relate to at the moment and stop mopping about this loss.

Lakers will win out the rest of the season and take the #1 seed if the Spurs can't win 5 games. The Lakers have been playing on a higher level of competitive intensity than anyone else in the league and that is why, if they do win out, I think Kobe should win MVP.

Roy-led teams won 50= games, and Roy made All-NBA teams.

    What's your point?

I'm not sure I agree that the Blazers' is that much more difficult than the Hornets as all of the Blazers' tough remaining games are at home while the Hornets play at Memphis and Dallas. The rest are at home and none of them are locks as well.

All the Blazers have to do is finish one game better than the Hornets and it's far from being decided.
