The fighters better have some personality and the fights better be pretty damn good because I don't seeing Dos Santos or Lesnar being the type of personalities that will attract casual viewers. WWE fans MAY check it out, but when they see Brock Lesnar being the minnesota boy that he is and not BROCK LESNAR the ex-WWE personality, I think they'll tune out fast.

Dos Santos will not be creating an incidents or 'pranks' either and he doesn't have the MMA Aura that big Nog had when he was on the show.

^ They have pared down the season to ten episodes so perhaps they really don't have much filler this time around.

either Spike has decided to move away from the original formula and create a more streamline product all about the fights or this season wasn't that good.

Despite having Brock Lesnar as a coach for the season, the debut of TUF 13 was the worst-rated debut for the program in its history (1.0).

Is it worth hanging on? Are we better off with small live shows ever week?

I mean, would you rather see an episode of TUF, or a live (even a taped) event with fighters who are generally unknown? What you might call a 'house show' if you were to use some pro wrestling terminology.

I wouldn't mind if they did smaller taped shows featuring unknowns or less guys already in the org. Could do it RAW style, have the live show on the weekend and then play it live on wednesday or something. Of course if they're gonna do it every week the UFC or SF would need to carry a much larger roster. Maybe this could work out in a few years when all the good guys from SF gets signed on to the UFC and you could have SF running challengers type shows once a week or bi-weekly.

^ Supposedly the early fights this season suck (but Dana promises they get better).

    Doesn't bode well.

Especially since in one clip they've shown he says "now that's the kind of fight we want". As if to say, "why weren't all the other fights like this?"

Tonight's fight wasn't that entertaining but it wasn't terrible. It was very hard fought though.

I think it's funny that after the fight Bock says "We make chicken salad out of chicken shit! We are chicken shit! We work with what we got fellas!"

Really? Is telling your team they suck good? lol

^ Brock's motivational speech was also pretty turr-bull. He shoehorned an "any given Sunday" football themed speech into MMA and the guys had to sit there quietly as he attempted to be inspirational. Also his cageside advice was repetitive (get up, get off the cage, yes, go, etc.) and unhelpful.

He messed up by not picking the first fight when he had the choice but has lucked out a bit because apparently the skill level this season is quite mediocre. I mean if we've seen two of the top fighters so far, colour me unimpressed.

The two episodes I've caught so far were boring. Boring fights, boring coaches, boring personalities.

Brock Lesnar is like watching a marionette made out of a side of uncooked beef. Dos Santos is equally as interesting but less intelligible.
