only 20 bucks? nice...but if you buy that to hide a smell. there will be excess smoke from either the joint/blunt burning or the pipe...i need to smoke with something like that though

I second the toilet paper roll with fabric softeners if you want to hide the scent.

    I don't anymore.

Yeah, there's always going to be that issue but there is gonna be a whole lot less smell if you use the Smoke Buddy.

I saw the Ortho again on Wed. I am going to go ahead with the Pot option. He won't prescribe it, so I need to find an open-minded Dr to talk to.

Best of luck...id be happt to help with anything on here or PM

Have you ever smoked cigarettes or weed? Cigars dont count since you dont inhale

If you a total rookie to weed your first time take ONE hit and wait 15minutes before you decide if you want a second hit...no need to make you hate weed cause you overdo it (aka: fall asleep, lol)

What makes you think you know more about pain relief than a physician? "Open-minded"? I'm sorry, but I call bullshit.

:dunno: Call it what you want, but some Drs refuse to participate in the OMMP. He told me point blank it was nothing personal - he just doesn't want the hassle of attracting the "wrong" kind of patient. Drs who take part in the OMMP either have to wear blinders, or spend a lot of extra time in screening patients to make sure they are legit.

The obvious irony here, is that he would be perfectly willing to give me narcotics, except that they have nasty side-effects for me.

I suppose I could take the stuff that is "counter-indicated" for people with heart trouble. At least then I would be out of your hair.

We have "medical" marijuana here in Denver and it's been a disaster. At one point, there were four physicians writing 90% of the prescriptions. It's basically legalized pot; my 2 1/2 year old could get a prescription.

It makes a mockery of those for who marijuana is the only form of pain relief.

So, where do you get your MD? Clearly, you can diagnose yourself. In fact, I wonder why you even need to see a physician with all of your medical knowledge.

I wonder why you even bother responding, if all you have to offer on the topic is hostility and knee-jerk politics.

Nothing knee-jerk about it. You have pain, and are convinced marijuana is the only medicine that will work. I'm just wondering where you gathered this deep knowledge of pharmaceuticals as I believe you're a former attorney.

Doesn't it though? I'm amazed at the amount and depth of knowledge in this thread about a recreational drug by posters who seem so ignorant about the more important facets of life. Perhaps it's the economist in me, but all I see are squandered utils.

it's not even that it's people "ignorant of more important facets". I mean, if DaRizzle (just to pick one, no offense intended) channeled half of that knowledge of vaporization tactics into, say, wind turbine design or non-proliferation obstacles or compression-air automobile technology, we'd be better as a country and as a people.
