Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Famer Chuck Bednarik has been released from a hospital in Fountain Hill, Pa., where he had been admitted last week after experiencing shortness of breath.

"There's no reason why he shouldn't be back on his feet in a couple of days," Bednarik's son-in-law, Ken Safarowic, told the Philadelphia Daily News. "He left with a clean bill of health."

Safarowic told the newspaper that Bednarik "was a little anemic and dehydrated" but the former Eagles great's heart and organs are fine.
