In Need of Veterans Celtics - They have a VERY young core and other than Paul Pierce they have little veteran help or leadership. Kendrick Perkins, Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Tony Allen, Orien Green, Ryan Gomes, Delonte West are all NBA babies and much of them are high schoolers. The team needs veteran winners to help this team become what it can be. Bulls - They also have a very young core but their young core are comprised of college veterans from winning programs like Chris Duhon & Luol Deng from Duke and Kirk Hinrich from Kanasa and Ben Gordon from Connecticut and last but not least Michael Sweetney from Georgetown. The Bulls don't have much veteran help and the veterans they do have are only average. Bobcats - They like the Bulls have college veterans from winning programs like Sean May and Raymond Felton from North Carolina and Emeka Okafor from Connecticut but the young talent which composes much of the group is very average. Most of their roster is around 24 years old.In Need of Young Players Spurs - This team has a lot of aging players and other than Tony Parker they don't have much in terms of good talent. Drafting in the end of the first round has hurt them and the FA's they have signed are all in their thirties, if they hope to keep competing they have to start filling in the gaps. Pistons - All their post players are getting into their thirties and they don't have much coming off of the bench. Tayshaun Prince was a huge pick a couple years ago but they need to pick up someone that can eventually start because if they have an injury at SG/SF they are screwed. Kings - All of their star players are getting uo near the thirties and other than Kevin Martin they really have nothing in terms of younger players. An example of another team drafting really late and not signing younger talent.
I think Gomes is NBA ready but as for the rest I agree with your evaluation of the Celtics, we do need veterans, Danny Ainge's strong suit is his ability to evaluate talent, he thinks the C's can just build all these young guys into a crazy powerhouse but we need some veterans for experience and guidance for these young guys.
the san antonio spurs are definetly in need of some younger players like BCB said tony parker is there only young great player they have udrih off the bench but even he isnt THAT young with van exel,finley and massenburg on the bench thats not young at all,course they were looking to win a championship and get those players rings....
The Raptors need some vets. Hopefully that'll help them play defense, and play smarter on offense. Yes they could score this year, but if they played a little smarter they might have scored even more. They need some guidance, some support
<u>In Need of Veterans</u>Sixers- They need veterans who are not to old like Webber. Because we already have enough of the young guys with Korver, Iguodala, Sammy, ect...........The reason we blew so many games last season was, because of our young guys. Well not the only reasons of course are main problem was D, and rebounding, but being so young did not help.
Bulls, Bobcats, and Hawks need some veterans. And, the Spurs need to get some younger players are up there in age.
