Lon Kruger is taking on another rebuilding project, this time at Oklahoma. Kruger left UNLV after seven seasons -- including four trips to the NCAA tournament -- to become the Sooners' new coach in a hiring that was confirmed late Friday night by the Big 12 school. "This is an exciting day," Kruger said in a statement. "I have appreciated the Oklahoma program for many years and always felt it had all of the components necessary to compete at the highest national level."
