But seriously, can the conferences be any closer? Detroit is a point behind San Jose, but the Sharks clinched a playoff berth. Hawks are 3 points up on a team who have played 2 more, but are down 2 points on three teams with near equal games. Coyotes are the exception with 2 extra games played(79). Damn, and the East is a little close for the last few spots as well. Many more playoff berths clinched there.

I have a feeling, a very bad feeling, that the Blackhawks will play the Red Wings in round 1.

I sure hope the Blackhawks end up playing Detroit in the first round instead of the Canucks.

Sharks in second place. I'd rather get Anaheim than Chicago.

We are a point above San Jose right now. Id rather play the Yotes then any other team.

SJ gets LA in the first round. Ducks and Blackhawks tend to be tough matchups and LA is banged up so no complaints. Never know with the Sharks though and Stanley Cup Playoffs are pretty unpredictable.

I am a little nervous for the Canucks. From watching the olympics last year and random hawks games I know to never count out a team with Toews, he's a beast. Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook know how to play against the Sedins and I think they'll be able to slow them down a bit. The big change in this year's series is the Canucks improved defense depth, I remember last year when Salo got injured and it was huge blow to the team, this year, they have so much depth that we should be good defensively

It seems like the teams are switched. Injury wise, defensive depth, and winning ability. It'll be a good one. I think we will see a game 6 or even a game 7 in Vancouver. Not sure who wins. Wouldn't be surprised if its the Nucks time this year.
