    Yeah, the stock story is hardly new. It would be surprising if Allen did not mention it.

    Cat bed? I thought he had no pets. Of course, cats are not really pets. They are owners.

    Clearly, he likes being high up.

    Don't worry, HCP. The article only had excerpts from the book. You know what national media is, focus on Bill Gates and an ex girlfriend. I'm sure someone of your stature would rate a mention elsewhere in the book.

    The story I always heard was that Gates and Ballmer were having a discussion about how to recapture Allen's shares in MS if he died from Hodgkin's, and PA overheard the discussion. It was at that point he decided to significant divest himself from MS so he wouldn't be vulnerable to such a tactic.
