I think O'Reilly's willing exposure to the other side of the spectrum has caused him to become a little wiser. He's interviewed Obama, John Stewart, Colbert, and been on the Daily Show (twice? I think.)
The most awesome guy on TV these days is John Stossel, who's also been on O'Reilly's show a few times. Stossel's show is on Fox Business News Channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IozfxKr2gk0
I think he's learning that if you really want people to take you seriously, you have to respect the job. By pandering a bit to the left perhaps he thinks it will give him more clout.
O'Reilly is intelligent, curious, and open to other viewpoints if they make sense to him. Beck is a theatrical parody of O'Reilly open to the viewpoints of his creators and financial benefactors.
I'm happy that Trump is stirring the pot, if that's what you want to call it. I think he should keep stirring it and stirring it until our esteemed president produces his birth certificate and proves that he is eligible to be sitting in the Oval Office.
O'Reilly is the mole and Beck the true believer. Who is supplementing O'Reilly's income? Is he conning Murdoch? Who paid his legal expenses in his sex case? Gingrich? Libya? Trump? The Founders would have asked, why is he soft on all three? Food for thought.
O'Reilly pissed a LOT of the right off when he interviewed Obama during the election and didn't declare him to be the anti-christ muslim manchurian candidate whose election would cause the destruction of the planet.
Is Trump betting against himself in his casinos? This guy is almost as good at making millions from a fake candidacy as Palin.
