about my Blazers as of this morning.............. With Sunday night's win, the Trail Blazers move to a season-high 13 games over .500 at 45-32. With a win tonight, Nate McMillan's career record as the Blazers' coach will be at .500 for first time since November of 2005. Portland has now won eight straight home games for the second time this year - First season the team has done that since 1998-99. Courtesy of my boy AGDuck on Twitter. Follow him, he drops interesting Blazer trivia like this all day long!
The last fact is the most interesting. It's been 12 years since a home winning streak this long? Frankly, I haven't thought much about the home winning streak, and now I realize it's a much bigger deal than I thought.
3 Lame facts........ 1. Blazers rank #1 in the NBA on alley-oops and receive no press about it. 2. Blazers get horrible coverage on ESPN. 3. LA gets no respect and wasn't voted in as a reserve as an All-Star.
Awesome, Man he has come along way with this team. It's amazing considering where he started. Hopefully once he gets on top he can stay there for a while, future's looking bright for him.
Man, if Roy were 100% healthy.... Man, if Oden were 100% healthy.... Man, if both Roy and Oden were 100% healthy.
It hurts too much to think about. A team with a healthy Roy, Oden and Aldridge, with Miller running the offense and Batum or Wallace filling in the gaps is the best in the league. Period.
Really puts into perspective how bad the team was when McMillan took over that it's taken a third straight strong season just to get him back to .500 with the franchise. Deep hole to dig out of.
