I would take Garcia because he will be beast defensively. We are talking another AK-47 here. In fact against the Jazz this year, he nearly had a 5x5 box score. Ok, fine, he needed more steals. He also has great vision, and he has a decent 3 pt shot.Warrick doesn't seem to be really good in any one category except dunking. He isn't really a shotblocker, he is a decent rebounder, and he is a monster athlete. But I still take Garcia.
Not necessarily, hes saying he can be like AK-47. I'm going with Francisco Garcia - he is a very underrated player and I see him as part of the King's future. Hakim Warrick is just a good dunker - his defense isn't any special.
Warrick played so well in his college years. Now he has kind of fallen off the charts. I think that because he was so strong and so athletic it made him look alot better than he really is. I mean he was always all over the highlight real. And, his name always in the paper. Now, your don't really hear about him. Nor the Grizzles.
Umm.. how is 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 blocks, and 1 steal even close to a 5x5??? He needed 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Not close at all my friend. But to answer your question, who has a better future of Garcia/Warrick? Well first of all, you are comparing a SG/SF to a SF/PF, but anyway, I'll take Garcia. I pick him because of his feel for the game (he doesn't try and over-do himself, he let's everything come to him), he is a very good shooter with a good stroke, he is a good team player, and he brings hustle on the defensive end. Warrick, in my opinion, will have a career similar to Stromile Swift. He is an exceptional athlete, but lacks the post skills to be a good post player and lacks the perimiter skills to be a SF. I think Warrick will have a very solid career as a backup/boarderline starter (and will be on ESPN a lot), but I think Garcia is going to turn out to be a quality starting wing and he will work wonders with K-Mart2 in the future.

I mean he looked like AK in that game, just doing everything in a stretch of about 20 minutes. But I agree with you about Martin/Garcia.

But saying he was close to a 5x5 and then seeing that he needed 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals is crazy. Not even close.
Garcia needs to get more playing time. I would choose him over Hakim Warrick anyday. I Actually think he needs to work on his three point shot. But he's young, he will learn.
