It sucked... put another ace in the AL East, and Kazzy owns the Sox too, which makes it even more worse.

Of course, they're a New York team. Win now, baby! But I don't think the Mets can really complain about their current situation.

Yeah, he will be one of the top tier pitchers in the MLB in the future I think. But it's hard when yo are trading prospects. You dont know how good they will become. How about this one: Michael Young to Texas for Estaban Loaiza. Esteban went on to play 2 more seasons with the Jays, but had an ERA over 5 and went like 9-9 or something. Now he has an era over 6 in Oakland with a 2-3 record. Michael Young is now one of the best pure hitters in baseball, the former batting champ, a starting all star, all star MVP.God can you think of our team with Michael Young? It makes tears come to my eyes when I think of that trade..

if the jays stll had young and all the players they do now, they would probaly be leading both the yankees and redsox in the AL east

Yeah but Im still happy with our team. We probably wont take the division this year, but I could see us passing the Yankees if our pitching becomes more consistent. We have one of the best offenses in the League. So I'm impressed with this years' squad.Does anyone else think that there should be 2 wilcard spots? It is really hard to make the playoffs if you play in the AL..

No you'd have to have a total of 5 wild cards.

Yeah, that wouldnt work out. I think they need to devise a scheme to make it easier to get into the playoffs though..Right now baseball has the fewest playoff teams in all major American sports..

LOL, I made a sig for this. It was probably the dumbest trade in recent years. Guess what idiot was the GM at the time and made it, that retard Steve Phillips who is on Baseball Tonight. For some reason ESPN wanted to hire this guy to be one of there experts. I hope Harold Reynolds farts at him every show.
