What does Travis Outlaw having a terrible season in New Jersey have to do with those who appreciated his 15 PER and big shots as a Blazer?

    Odd thread.

There has to be a better reason to wrack your brain.

Brains. The more brains, the more the need to wrack them.

The less brains one has, the more important it is to perserve the few you have left. Don't wrack them over the wrong stuff.

I wouldn't want him back with that salary.

I like Wallace at the backup PF more than Travis.

I wouldn't think of touching Travis when I heard he got a 35mil contract.

But if we could sign him for a cheap deal I'd glady add him to our bench. Rudy is a 3 point specialist who can't shoot and Roy tonight lead our bench scoring with 5 points in 29 minutes. We let the Lakers back into that game when we had to put subs in during the 3rd quarter and couldn't score for 6 minutes. Nate had to rush his starters back in and play them 40 minutes. Sure Travis was a low IQ player and has a number of deficiencies in his game but he provided scoring off the bench and can hit a wide open 3 ball. I haven't got to watch many Nets games this year but I'd suspect Travis is having to take more contested shots then here which lower your percentages.

Why is that a bad thing? The opposite used to be Aldridge, so Nate had them complement each other. Avery Johnson (.304) won't be around for long.
